Jodhpur is an old fortress town in the Rajasthan desert famous for it’s woodcarving. I spent a week there in November 2007 establishing a new supplier for our carved wooden beds.

In between I wandered round the lovely old blue town and the Bishnoi villages - the Bishnoi are great protectors of wildlife and deer roam freely around their villages, though are still difficult to catch on camera! A wonderful place to stay is the Shahi Guest House.
